GRLZ Radio in New Orleans

Three GRLZ Radio peer leaders - Alicia, Erica, and Azia - were selected to join 30 of Boston's most influential women leaders, including First Ladies Diane Patrick and Angela Menino, to participate in Boston Women Build in the Bayou.

In mid-May, they traveled to New Orleans to build a Habitat for Humanity home in Musician's Village, a project conceived by Branford Marsalis and Harry Connick, Jr., who are Honorary Chairs of Habitat for Humanity hurricane rebuilding program.

The Village will consist of 75 Habitat-constructed homes that will house musicians and other qualifying families.
